Chief Carrie Davis

Chief of Detention

 

 Chief Carrie Davis is a life long resident of Oklahoma and a citizen of Cleveland County since 2000.  She has been devoted to servicing her family and community. She credits her success to sustained superior performance and dedication to continuing education and training. Chief Davis has achieved and maintained her Rifle Certification, OC Certification, Taser Certification, and is a certified CLEET instructor.


Chief Davis began her law enforcement career with the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office in 2000. She started in the Detention Center where she quickly promoted to the rank of Sergeant. After developing her skill set in Detention, she was selected to transfer to patrol division. While working as a patrol deputy, she attended CLEET and graduated with her Peace Officer’s certification within the State of Oklahoma.  Chief Davis was then afforded the opportunity to advance her law enforcement knowledge by embarking on a career in the Civil Division. There she was able to become cross trained in Courthouse Security where she eventually transferred. She was promoted to Sergeant of Courthouse Security, where she remained until she transferred to Tax Warrants.  Chief Davis was recruited to return to the jail as Senior Sergeant in 2010. After a short time in that position she was selected to promote to her current position of Chief of Detention.
